PLAN AHEAD
Plan Ahead
A thoughtful gift to those you love most.
Pre-planning lets you make decisions in calm moments rather than urgent ones. We sit down with you, listen, and help you shape a plan that reflects your wishes — including green options and Medicaid spend-downs when needed.
There are four levels of preparedness.
Most people don't realize there's more than one way to prepare. Pre-planning isn't just about pre-paying or preparing for death—it's about giving the people you love one less thing to worry about.
Our goal is simple: Help you get to level 3
That means sitting down with one of our licensed funeral directors to understand your options before they're needed. There's no pressure, no obligation, and the consultation is completely free.
LEVEL ONE
No Plan
A death occurs, and no one knows what to do. It's late at night. Emotions are high. A hospital, hospice, or nursing facility needs to know which funeral home to call, and your family is making important decisions they've never had to make before.Unfortunately, this is where many families find themselves.
LEVEL two
Wishes Have Been Shared
Your loved one has talked about what they want. Maybe they've said they want cremation, burial, or something simple. While that's incredibly helpful, there are still many decisions your family will need to make regarding logistics, paperwork, costs, and timing.
LEVEL three
You've Made a Plan!
You've met with a licensed funeral director.Together, you've reviewed your options, discussed pricing, answered your questions, and documented your wishes. When the time comes, your family isn't left guessing—they simply call us.
This is where we encourage every family to be.
LEVEL four
Everything Is in Place
Your arrangements have been fully completed. Your services are pre-funded, today's prices are locked in, and you've considered important details like travel protection, third-party expenses, your obituary, and even the type of memorial or celebration you'd like. Instead of making decisions during one of life's hardest moments, your family can focus on being together.
Is Prepaying Safe?
Absolutely. When you choose to pre-fund your arrangements, your money is placed into a state-regulated trust account. Inclusive Funeral Care does not have access to those funds until your services are provided.
Even if our ownership changes or our business is sold, your prepaid funds remain protected and follow your contract.
Pre-need funeral funds in Illinois are regulated by the Illinois Comptroller's Office, providing an additional layer of oversight and protection for consumers.
Why Families Choose to Pre-Plan
- Reduce stress for loved ones
- Ensure your wishes are known
- Understand your options before a crisis
- Lock in today's funeral home pricing (when pre-funded)
