Michael Siverling

Michael Glen Siverling passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 at his home in Chicago, Illinois.

Michael was born October 6, 1964 in Salina, Kansas to Donald and Marietta (Reed) Siverling.

He attended Central High School graduating in 1983. He attended Kansas Technical Institute and Colorado Institute of Art earning a degree in Visual Communications in 1989.

Michael enjoyed his profession and worked for several marketing companies including Marketaide, Inc in Salina, KS. He was an Art Director, Project Coordinator and Imaging Specialist at Hult Fritz Matuzak in Peoria, IL. He was an Interactive Project Manager at Townsend Agency in Rosemont, IL. He loved living in Chicago, and was a Project Manager at Cramer-Krasselt, he worked as a Vice President and Director of Project Management at Draft fcb, he was a Senior Vice President of Digital Operations at Edelman, and was the Group Director of Operations and Director of Project Management and PMO Practice Lead at Fjord/Accenture in Chicago, IL until he retired in 2018.

He was a talented designer and designed the logos for the Bicentennial Center and Little Darlings Academy in Salina, KS and Liberty Candy in Wichita Falls, Texas just to name a few.

Michael was a big fan of baseball and enjoyed cheering on the cubs. He especially enjoyed watching the games at Wrigley field with his best friend Peter Osten. He also enjoyed cheering on the Bears football team.

Michael enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with family. He was a talented artist and enjoyed music and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marietta Siverling, his nephew Jesse Perkinson and his brother Larry Perkinson.

He is survived by his father Donald Siverling of Salina, KS, his brother and sister-in-law David and Loretta (Furse) Perkinson, his sister and brother-in-law Shelly and Steve Grandy all of Salina, KS and a brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Sherie (Rood) Siverling in Wichita Falls, TX, and many nieces and nephews.
