David Stewart

David Stewart, 87, of Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, passed away on September 27, 2026.

He was born in Chicago on July 10, 1939. David was a resident of Birchwood Plaza, where he will be deeply missed by his community.

David will be remembered through his love of music. Blind from an early age, he memorized the keys of the piano and developed a lifelong appreciation for music. He collected vintage records, with 45s holding a special place in his heart.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gladys Stewart, and his brother, Alan Kleven Stewart.

Burial of his ashes will take place at Stordahl Cemetery in Zumbrota, Minnesota.
