Ananise "Andy" Blue Obituary (1943

Ananise Blue, “Andy Blue”, 80 of Chicago’s Northside; Cable Contractor; passed away peacefully July 12, 2024, at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Born Ananias Blue, III in Ruleville, Mississippi; son of the late Ananias Blue Jr. and Emma Lee Martin. An entrepreneurial spirit and hard work ethic ran deep within Andy’s lifetime; he owned a Chicago-based moving company before owning and operating A&B Custom Cable TV Services (once located at 4860 North Clark St). As a long-time professional in his field, Andy provided cable services to thousands of Chicago multi-unit buildings and residential homes. Andy was known for being quite the charmer; he loved cars; he was a music lover with a special appreciation for R&B, Jazz, and Blues. He cooked great soul food and baked the best German chocolate cakes. Beloved father of Ruby, Anthony, and Jessica Blue; awesome father-in-law to Marcel Urbanski; adoring grandfather of Don Jr., Riley, Brianna, Anthony Jr., Aiden, and Avery.
